About
Becky A. Benson lives with her family in the Pacific Northwest of Washington State. She holds a degree in psychology and works for the National Tay-Sachs and Allied Diseases Association as the organization’s Family Support and Engagement Manager. An active writer and public speaker, her work has appeared in various print, online, and television outlets. Find many of these on her Hompage and Publications page.
Her passions are for helping families endure the loss of a child, spreading awareness of rare genetic conditions, advocating for adoption, and providing a voice to the marginalized in society.
In her spare time (what is that?) she enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, planning elaborately themed parties, and taking an annoyingly endless stream of photos of her dog. She also has a cat, but the cat won’t pose for photos.
